CELEBRATION OF CHILDREN’S DAY 2022

“Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether makes this world a beautiful garden.”

As we all know that November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. This day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889. He was also known as Pandit Nehru and he was fondly called Chacha Nehru or Chachaji, by the children for his immense love towards children. This day marks Chacha Nehru’s devotion to the welfare, education, and development of children and young people.

To make this event memorable for the young buds of Image Classes, cricket matches were held. In the first match, Foundation Batch defeated Pre Foundation Batch.

The next match was played between Jungjus Image Classes (Students) vs Magicians Image Classes. Jungjus won the toss and captain Ahnaf decided to bat first. Jungjus finished the innings with 75 runs on board. The best bowler for Magicians was Aadil Sir (Social Studies Teacher) who chipped in with 4 important wickets. Magicians lost their wickets at regular intervals but splendid batting from Asif Sir (Assistant Manager) and Meraj Sir (Science Teacher) helped Magicians to win the match by two wickets. It was a very interesting match and students enjoyed it organized a lot. Meraj Sir was adjudged ‘Man of the Match, Asif Sir was adjudged ‘Best Batsman’ for scoring valuable 17 runs and Aadil Sir was adjudged ‘Best Bowler’ but he gifted this award to Captain of Jungjus Ahnaf.
